Dance Floors
We strongly recommend dance floors at events where there is going to be dancing. Not only do they provide a firm surface to groove away on but they also enhance the event visually. Oakleaf Marquees offer four different styles of dance floor for hire so you can choose which best suits your occasion.
For size, the rule of thumb is that a third of guests dance at any one time. We work on the basis of 1.8 square feet per guest (so if you have 120 guests attending you'll need 216 square feet of dance floor). However, if you're having a ceilidh or barn dance you'll need to double this at least.

Still the bestseller, our parquet dance floors are made of attractive Brazilian 'Jatoba' wood which is dark red/brown in appearance. Parquet dance floors are perfectly suited to events that require a more traditional feel and they complement coconut matting nicely.

A black and white dance floor gives an event a real touch of class and sophistication. Constructed of extremely durable acrylic, a black and white 'checkerboard' dance floor is visually striking and can provide real contrast with the rest of the marquee floor.

Our glossy white dance floor is perfectly suited to weddings with its neutral yet elegant feel. As with the black and white dance floor, it is made of extremely durable acrylic that buffs to a nice gloss finish.

A black dance floor is very cool and best suited to events such as parties and other events where a nightclub effect is desired. As with the white and black and white floors, it's made of durable acrylic.
